On Friday 22nd November, Latymer Upper School had the pleasure of welcoming 15 students from the Nightingale-Bamford School in New York City, marking their second visit to our school. This experience, aimed at fostering cross-cultural connections, offered an invaluable opportunity for all students to learn from each other’s educational experiences and share their own perspectives.
Our Year 9 students paired up with the visitors, guiding them through various lessons across different subjects. This hands-on experience allowed the American pupils to fully immerse themselves in daily school life at Latymer Upper School. After lunch, the Nightingale-Bamford pupils had the exciting opportunity to present a range of projects they had been working on to our students.
The American students described their visit to Latymer as the highlight of their trip! This day strengthened the connection between our schools and we are so grateful to everyone involved for making this a truly unforgettable experience.
