(Registrations for entry into Year 7 in September 2025 are now closed, all places are filled and we cannot accept further registrations).
Requirements for Registration
Latymer Upper and Prep School only accepts students who are British or Irish citizens, or who can demonstrate that they have the right to live in the UK for the duration of their study. Whilst we may accept applicants who hold a time limited visa at the Registration stage, an offer of a place cannot be made unless an applicant can subsequently demonstrate that he/she holds British or Irish citizenship, or has the right to remain in the UK for the duration of study. Latymer Upper and Prep School does not sponsor pupils under the Child Student Visa Scheme (formerly Tier 4 Student Visa). In line with the Equality Act 2010, applications are welcomed from all candidates regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, disability or special educational need.
Prior to completing the registration form:
We offer full fee paying places and bursary places for those who require financial assistance. Bursaries can range in amount from 25% to 100% of the fees. Our current school fees are available here and for more information about applying for a bursary please visit this page.
There are two types of registration forms. You should complete one form only. Please note that only those with parental responsibility are eligible to complete the form.
If you are applying for a fee paying place or a partial bursary, please complete the 11+ Registration Form. If you indicate on the form that you wish to apply for a partial bursary, you will be sent further information on how to submit a partial bursary application after your registration has been processed. You will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of £180 (incl. VAT)
If you are applying for a full or 100% bursary, please complete the 11+ Full Bursary Registration Form. You will not be required to pay a registration fee if applying for a full bursary, however, you may be contacted by a member of the Admissions team to confirm that you are eligible for Latymer to pay the registration fee for you. Typically, we waive the registration fee if you are in receipt of Universal Credit or other benefits (but not Child Benefit). If your application is subsequently assessed and does not qualify for a full bursary, we reserve the right to contact you for the registration payment at a later date. After your registration has been processed, you will be sent further information on how to submit an application for a full bursary.
Learning Support
The deadline for receipt of all documentation relating to learning support requirements is the same day as 11+ registrations close and this should be sent to us for consideration by our Academic Mentoring Department. You will be sent a link to complete the form when your registration has been processed. At this point all relevant information, reports or assessments from qualified practitioners in the appropriate field (or details of reports or assessments pending) should be submitted. If you have not submitted the relevant paperwork by the published deadline, we will be unable to provide the necessary arrangements for your child during the entry assessment process.
All relevant details must be supplied at this point, we reserve the right to withdraw the offer of a place if incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information is supplied at the initial registration stage.
If you have any further questions, please refer to the Joining at 11+ page here or contact the Admissions Team via the details below, we are always very happy to hear from you.
