Latymer Upper School aims to provide young people with a life-changing education that allows them to excel in the modern world. Our desire is for learning to be transformative and to give our students access to areas of knowledge, skills and experience that make them excited about learning for their whole life.
The Latymer Learner Profile was developed to illustrate our ambitious academic goals and its opening statement refers to the aims of a Latymer education:
Drawing on Aristotle’s concept of Eudaimonia (‘human flourishing’ and ‘living well’) for inspiration, we also keep our eye on 21st century contexts. Our pupils will need to flourish in a world of uncertainty and constant change; we recognise that context and are constantly responding to it accordingly.
