Applying to university
Looking ahead to when they move on beyond Latymer, our students have the benefit of expert careers and university advice from specialist staff, including individuals with responsibility for overseas applications, for Oxbridge applications and for courses in Medicine. Every student receives one to one higher education advice during the course of Year 12 and we also offer SAT preparation classes (for US applications), subject-specific academic extension classes and mock interviews. Students applying to university post-A Level receive the same level of support as those applying in Year 13. Even after university, Latymerians can count on our Careers and Alumni teams for support and networking opportunities
Nearly all of our students progress to university, with many choosing to study overseas, as shown in the map below:
