Latymer shortlisted for two IDPE awards

We’re excited to have been nominated for two awards at the prestigious IDPE (Institute of Development Professionals in Education) Awards ceremony this evening:

IDPE Senior Leader of the Year – David Goodhew

IDPE Schools’ Fundraising Campaign of the Year – Inspiring Minds campaign

Both award nominations recognise Latymer’s ethos of offering children a life-changing education, regardless of their financial background. Head, David Goodhew, firmly believes social diversity within a school is educationally beneficial to all pupils, both fee-paying and bursary holders. His nomination is for leaders who are not themselves working directly in development, but who encourage and support development departments within their schools. David is in good company – the other nominee on the shortlist is Dr. Jon Cox of the RGS.

Our Inspiring Minds campaign is one of the most ambitious in the independent school sector and is a blueprint for bursary campaigns within the wider school community. We’re thrilled that other institutions like ours are now launching their own bursary initiatives.

We wish all nominees luck at this evening’s award ceremony.
