A long day of trekking for the Morocco team. 3 hours of consistent uphill took us to a stone house atop the tallest mountain in Morocco where we had lunch, and then another 3 hours around the valley to a stone Berber house, which was our home for the evening.
The local children were entertained by lots of crafts and games from the Latymer students before we crashed – exhausted – into our beds.
Some amazing views as we walked in the mountains today.
After an early start of 3am we made it to our first stop for lunch around midday. Fabulous food was served buffet style and then a little time to rest before we head off to the Water Museum, after which we will brave our evening camel rides! WiFi is scarce so updates may be a little sparse, but we will do our best!
