Two of our Latymer Upper School Year 13 Students participated in a Spanish Debating Competition which took place at Hampton School last week.
They debated against Tonbridge School, Wycombe and Lady Eleanor Holles in the first pool of rounds. They won two out of the three debates, going from strength to strength. This is a massive achievement and testament to their hard work and attendance to extracurriculars.
The experience of debating in another language at a high level is something they will never forget and the adjudicators praised both their detailed cultural content and their linguistic accuracy.
A massive congratulations goes to both of them and many thanks to Angela Echanove for her help during the trip.
