The Prep Eco-Committee were so excited to visit the Quintin Hogg Memorial Grounds to build a large bug wall (‘Bugingham Palace’) next to the picnic area. The wall also contains three hedgehog hotels, as well as a number of nesting holes for bees, which were drilled-in by the pupils.
As the site is currently under redevelopment this was a wonderful opportunity for the children to participate in providing a natural habitat for the local diverse wildlife for the grounds.
The children had a wonderful time building the wall and are very proud of their efforts.
