Latymerian fencers go from strength to strength!

Latymer Upper School was represented by two fencing teams at this weekend’s prestigious British School Teams Championships held at Millfield School in Somerset. Congratulations go to both teams (one foil and one epee) for their fantastic performances – in particular to Latymer’s U13 epee team, Eugenie, Marcy and Juliette who each left the competition the proud owner of a silver medal!

The good news for our fencers didn’t end there. Champion Josh Willcox (Y11) has been asked to join Team GB for the upcoming Fencing World Championships, to be held in Bulgaria at the beginning of April. It’s a huge honour, and well deserved – good luck Josh.

The School is very proud of all our fencers, who really are going from strength to strength!
