On Wednesday 30th January we were delighted to welcome 25 students and two members of staff from Herlufsholm School in Denmark. The visitors are on a school trip to London for five days and, as another Round Square school, they were dropping in to say ‘hello’.
Last year, Herlufsholm School hosted a regional Round Square conference that five of our students attended, so it was great to meet up again. The visitors attended the Upper Sixth assembly on art in prisons, after which they were shown round the school by some of our Lower Sixth students. In Period 3 they collaborated with our Global Perspectives elective students and together they discussed the education systems in our respective countries.
During break, the Danish group met with many of our Sixth Formers for coffee and muffins, and it was lovely to see them all getting on so well! We hope to welcome many more students as these opportunities are so enriching for all involved.
