Our German language students explored the sights, smells and sounds of Munich’s Christmas markets last week.
Munich is a historically important and very attractive town, which is perhaps at its most magical over the Christmas period. There are several Christmas markets to visit, spread across the centre of the city. Each market specialises in different gifts, from traditional hand- made wooden toys and gifts to sweets and delicacies.
Before they headed back to London, they even managed to fit in time for some ice skating.
