For the first time since February 2020, Latymerians – past and present – and their families will be able to attend a live art exhibition at the School on Friday evening.
The ‘Late Summer Show 2021’ is a stunning exhibition of A Level, Year 12 and GCSE art and photography, curated by Head of Art, David Mumby and his team.
As well as bright colours and bold patterns, textile and collages, are multimedia confections, abstracts, self portraits and landscapes will adorn the walls and spaces of the Atrium Gallery, Art School and Dining Hall.
“Our students have been really busy and this exhibition celebrates them – their creativity and resilience,” says David Mumby. “There is a real spirit of optimism throughout the exhibition. Students have marked the extraordinary times we have been living through in a really striking and moving way, injecting their own personalities into the pieces with a message of hope for the future.
