The Power of Partnerships

Partnerships are an integral and valued part of Latymer Upper School life, never more so than during this pandemic.

Without the dedication of our staff and students, the community, charity and school partners that we work with, the 100+ projects we ran in the last academic year simply wouldn’t have happened, so thank you for all you have contributed.

Special thanks go to the many people in our Latymer community whose financial support has made these partnerships possible, including the Sandhu Charitable Foundation, the Maras Family, Robert Myers (1967), and Adam Toop (1984) whose support for multi-year programmes has been invaluable.

Working in partnership, we can have a big impact on young people’s lives. Through our programmes and activities we have been able to support more than 600 local children in the last year alone. Whilst the lockdown forced many of our programmes to end prematurely, we have continued to support the local community, for example, our holiday camps helped young people whose lives have been devastated by the coronavirus; we’ve produced more than 65,000 pieces of PPE and raised over £30,000 for the NHS and other charities supporting people affected by coronavirus.

To celebrate Partnership Week we have compiled this short video with images and   footage of children enjoying the variety of activities and programmes we’ve run across the last academic year.
