The Exhibition in June is the culmination of Latymer’s Global Goals course that every Year 9 takes and is an opportunity for them to present their projects to parents, teachers and each other.
Global Goals is a course that has been developed by Latymer. It ties into the school’s strategic aim to help pupils become active global citizens. The students identify one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, research and devise a solution to realise this goal. They work in small groups to produce websites and presentations that ‘sell their ideas’.
“Their projects were truly inspiring, innovative, creative & thought-provoking,” said Mr Edwards, who leads the course.
