Parents' Gild

The Latymer Parents’ Gild was founded in 1945 and from the beginning it has played a crucial role in the fostering and strengthening of communications between parents and the School.

When children join the school their parents or guardians automatically become members of the Gild. The Gild itself is run by a Committee along with representatives from each year group from both the Prep School and Upper School. The year group representatives volunteer at the beginning of each academic year at the Gild AGM. Each term the Gild runs one major social event which is open to all parents and details are circulated in the PG weekly newsletter. All monies raised from these events are used to support the Trips & Activities Fund (formerly the Horizon Fund).

Parents also have the opportunity to join the Parents' Gild Sports Club; membership provides use of the fantastic facilities at the Latymer Sports Centre including the Fitness Suite, Swimming Pool, Classes and Sports Hall at specific times including weekday evenings and the weekend. Details are available to parents through the Parent Portal.
