Sport at Latymer Upper has always played a major part in both the curricular and extra-curricular life of our pupils. A wide range of exciting activities are on offer to all boys and girls, from enthusiastic beginners to regular Club members, with the emphasis on fun and inclusion as well as the serious business of competition.

The School has a long tradition of excellence in the sporting field and nowhere is this shown to such advantage as the pinnacle of all sporting competitions - the Olympics. Latymerians have represented their country on numerous occasions, beginning with an alumnus from the class of 1910, through to London 2012.

  • New Sports Centre opened 2016 complete with a 6 lane, 25m pool with an adjustable floor, a large sports hall, fitness suite, and three studios. Providing a full programme of indoor sporting activities and fitness training throughout the year.
  • Boat house on-site with 30+ boats and our own Thames jetty where our crews train to compete with the very best in the Country.
  • Wood Lane Sports complex (short coach drive away): offering some of the most outstanding facilities in London including 4 rugby/football pitches, 3 cricket squares, a floodlit Astroturf for hockey, netball, football and tennis and a modern pavilion and changing rooms. (Out of school hours our Wood Lane facilities are used for training by the All Blacks, Wallabies, Springboks and British Lions.)
  • Netball courts on-site.
