Bounce for Wellbeing Week

Monday 9 October saw the start of Bounce for Wellbeing Week and a host of activities throughout the School to promote healthy mental wellbeing and to provide students with tips and activities to help them BOUNCE back when faced with times of stress and difficult

Many students opted to get active with table tennis, a headspace walk, wall climbing, a dodgeball tournament, multi-activity challenges, a silent disco and a river run. For those wanting something a bit more relaxing and contemplative there was student and staff yoga, a mindfulness drop in session, 'Mood Boost-in', Connect and Peer Mentoring sessions, Relaxation in the Library while some students chose to put pen to paper and write Christmas Cards to our charity-partner friends in Uganda. Healthy eating was on the agenda too with a Tuesday morning Healthy Breakfast served up before school and a 'No-refined sugar' "Bake-off". It was fantastic to see so many students get involved in a whole host of cross-year-group activities.
