As part of the Sixth Form curriculum all Lower Sixth pupils participate in voluntary service for a minimum of 10 weeks.
This involves pupils working with local charitable organisations and actively engaging in community projects in their spare time. The School has strong relationships with local primary schools where Latymer pupils run sessions in Latin and Art, as well as assisting in the classroom and at after school clubs. Pupils also regularly visit residents in a local home for the elderly, where they have organised a tea party and weekly music performances. Some work at the Youth to Youth counselling service and others work with London Youth Rowing and Fulham FC Foundation to provide outreach coaching sessions. They are also actively involved with The Rugby Portobello Trust, helping weekly at the homework club. Within school pupils are trained to assist in the Academic Mentoring department as well as running a peer mentoring programme and helping to run Latymer Saturday School or Primary Debating for local children.
Many younger pupils also volunteer, particularly when working towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award.
