The Latymer Annual Fund 2009-2010

As its name suggests, each year this campaign seeks support from the Latymer community. All monies raised go to fund means tested scholarships. Two of these scholarships run for the seven years of the Upper School and are awarded to girls and boys who show great promise in the entrance exam process, but whose families could not otherwise afford to send them to Latymer. This year a third 6th Form Annual Fund scholarship has been awarded.

The Annual Fund is part of the Latymer scholarship programme that aims, not only to increase access to a Latymer education, but also to enhance the experience of all pupils by broadening social diversity in the School. 

There are now seven Annual Fund scholars in Years 7 to 10 as a result of the generous response to the previous four campaigns; the many hundreds of gifts came from all sections of the Latymer Community: alumni, current and former parents and staff, Governors and friends of the School.

The Annual Fund does not ask for huge donations, the majority of gifts are small, many given by standing order which help enormously in planning for the future.
