BUILDING

New Science Building and Library Resource Centre

The new building is now open and ready for use by all pupils. 

Facilities included in the new building are:

• Library research facility on ground floor
• Science laboratories/prep rooms on the other 3 floors
• IT rooms throughout the building

The Foundation Stone for the New Science and Library Building was unveiled on 1st June 2009 by Professor Dame Julia Higgins, Professor of Polymer Science in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Chemical Technology at Imperial College, London.  There will be an official opening in October, but the building is now ready and in use by pupils and staff. 

Science Matters

An event took place in the Edward Latymer Theatre during September 2009 to raise awareness of science and the Science and Library Building project.
