A Latymer education is distinctive, challenging, creative, responsive to individual needs, based on academic rigour, love of learning and the pursuit of excellence.

Our curriculum is designed to inspire, delight and inform, and not just to allow children to achieve the best results in their exams.  We expand on the national curriculum at all stages.  Latymer pupils are able and can easily do so much more than the prescribed content set down for pupils of their age.

A new curriculum was introduced in September 2010, when we moved to IGCSEs and the linear A Level, with all public exams now being taken at the end of the Upper Sixth year.  Longer lessons were introduced, with seven 45 minute periods throughout the day, many being double lessons. The exciting and innovative World Perspectives Course was developed for the Middle School, to allow students to study issues of current relevance.  In the Sixth Form, the Extended Project is a popular option for our students.
